What Is: Hutch

In Rabbitry, a hutch is an enclosure or cage used to house domesticated rabbits.

A rabbit hutch is usually a small, wooden, or wire mesh box that provides shelter and protection to the rabbit, while also allowing it to move around freely.

The hutch may also include a small compartment for food and water.

Rabbit hutches can come in various sizes and designs. Still, they are generally designed to meet the basic needs of rabbits, such as providing adequate space, ventilation, and protection from predators.
